When
travelling to Thailand many people ask us what they should bring and
wear. Bangkok is as modern a city as any, you have trendy nightspots,
five star hotels and restaurants that all have similar dress codes to
those in your home city.
Thailand
does have different seasons though. These can range from very hot to
mild/hot depending on where you are from. If you are travelling to
Thailand in December or January it can be rather cool, especially in the
evenings, so a thin jacket or pullover may be required. The rest of the
year though is quite hot throughout the day and night so one should pack
accordingly.
Remember,
Thailand has some great shopping to offer so we would advise travelling
light with space in the suitcase for new purchases. There are often a
lot of sales on at department stores around Bangkok, some offering up to
70 or even 80% discounts!
If
you are planning on travelling during New Year or Christmas it is worth
checking with the hotel if they have a compulsory (annoying we know)
Gala Dinner and if so, what is the dress code.
Most
resorts, especially the five star properties may well have snorkel or
diving equipment available either free of charge of for rent, check with
them before you decide to carry unneeded weight o your travels.

you have any further questions please contact
