Luxury Hotel in Bangkok Launches 375-Night, One
Million Baht Promotion - Video Interview with GM
(31 Oct 2021)
The Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit has launched a
promotion which costs one million Thai Baht, approximately US$
33,281.
The very special deal, which is only available for
100 of the hotel's 273 rooms, is non-commissionable, includes tax
and service charge, and is only bookable directly with the hotel
until the end of March, or until sold out.
For one million Baht, the customer can stay at the
hotel for one year in a Club Room with full Club Lounge access and
privileges. That person could also transfer some of the nights to
family members, and if a company buys the package they are also
allowed to transfer room nights to a limited number of people.
The price is per room, not per person, and
in addition to the 365 nights, customers will also receive a
200,000 Baht credit which can be used on F&B, 10 limousine
transfers, and 10 nights at the Hyatt Regency in Hua Hin, Phuket
or Koh Samui.
The hotel has also partnered with Bumrungrad
Hospital, one of the most highly respected 5-star hospitals in the
region, Siam Paragon, one of the most popular shopping malls in
the city, and KTC bank to offer even more benefits and privileges.
To learn more about this creative idea, Steven
Howard of TravelNewsAsia.com spoke with the Hyatt Regency Bangkok
Sukhumvit's General Manager, Mr.
Sammy Carolus.
In the interview, filmed over Skype on 8 December
2020, Sammy tells us where the idea came from, how the hotel has
been affected by COVID19, who he expects to buy the promotion,
how it works, and much, much more. The interview is
available in video and podcast format below.

eighth in a
series of video interviews conducted over the internet. Hopefully it won't be too
long until we are once again conducting exclusive video interviews
in person, but for now we have to make do with what we have. Thank
you.
