41. JetWave Receives EASA Certification for Airbus A319
Honeywell and EAD Aerospace have received European Aviation Safety Agency certification for its JetWave high-speed satellite communications hardware on the Airbus A319. The certification allows JetWave to be installed and used on the A319 aircraft, providing passengers, pilots and operators with access to Inmarsat’s Global Xpress Ka-band service, GX Aviation.

44. MHG Signs Anantara Resort in Zanzibar
Thailand-based Minor Hotels Group has signed an Anantara resort in Zanzibar. Scheduled to open in 2020 as part of the Zanzibar Amber Resort mixed-use lifestyle community, the Anantara Zanzibar Resort will occupy in excess of 1,000 hectares of prime Indian Ocean coastline in the north east of Zanzibar.
45. Munich Airport Reports Record Number of Passengers and Freight
Munich Airport's robust growth trend continued in 2016 with new records for total passengers and freight turnover. The number of passengers increased by 1.3 million, or 3%, over the previous year to a new all-time high of 42.3 million, and the number of aircraft movements was up by almost 4%. The total of 394,430 take-offs and landings represented an increase of 14,500.
