Rolls-Royce has launched a range of new apps to give airline pilots a better insight into their engines. The first apps available cover the Trent XWB, which powers the Airbus A350XWB and the Trent 1000 which powers the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. SAS has extended its suspension of flights to and from Shanghai and Beijing until 29 March 2020. The Scandinavian airline will still operate its Hong Kong service as scheduled, though it has said that customers traveling to, from or via Hong Kong can voluntary change their reservation or request a refund.

Breeze Airways has signed a purchase agreement with Airbus for 20 more A220-300 jets, bringing the airline’s total order book to 80 A220-300s. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in Q4 2021, with Airbus’ facility in Mobile, Alabama set to deliver approximately one A220 per month to Breeze over the next six-and-a-half years.
