Compared with March 2015, the U.S. hotel industrys occupancy was nearly flat (-0.4% to 66.4%), however ADR for the month was up 3.2% to US$124.37, and RevPAR increased 2.7% to US$82.60. Thai Airways International has decided to waive fees for customers who are unable to travel due to the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) outbreak. The waiver is effective until 31 July 2015. Cathay Pacific and Dragonair carried a total of 2,960,915 passengers last month an increase of 2.6% compared to March 2015. The passenger load factor fell by 3.4 percentage points to 83.9% while capacity, measured in available seat kilometres (ASKs), grew by 5.2%.
