Aberdeen International Airport in Scotland, in partnership with Friendly Access, is now offering lanyards to travellers with hidden disabilities. The airport has also started offering passengers the opportunity to have familiarisation tours of the terminal prior to their travel date.

From August 2010 to July 2011, a total of 6.1 million passengers chose to fly with Tiger Airways, an increase of 12% over the 5.4 million passengers in the preceding 12 months. The average load factor for the 12-month period to July 2011 was 86%, the same as the previous 12 months.

This deal, which CIT committed to at the 49th Le Bourget airshow on 21st June 2011, brings the total number of Airbus aircraft ordered by CIT since 1999 to 237 comprising 191 A320 Family aircraft (including the 50 A320neo aircraft), 41 A330s, five A350 XWBs of which 144 have been delivered so far.

Etihad Airways has appointed Ms Pawana Shrestha as its country manager in Nepal. Based in Kathmandu, Ms Shrestha will take over from outgoing acting country manager, John Rees Evans, to oversee the airline’s commercial operations in Nepal.
