In Hong Kong Saturday, officially is
not a day off, many companies however do give their
employees the whole day or half a day off. It is
advisable to plan for meetings during the week rather
than a Saturday.
Travelling to Hong Kong for business is normally
fine year round, but you really want to avoid Chinese New Year.
During this time, the dates vary annually, many companies will
completely close shop for sometimes as long as a week. For leisure
travellers then travelling to Hong Kong should not be a problem,
shops are still open etc and there is normally some very
impressive fireworks and festivals on. It should be noted however
that flights to and from the SAR may well be very full or more
expensive than normal during this period.
The below list of National Holidays
