Bangkok Airways to Resume Samui Flights

Bangkok Airways will resume flights between
Bangkok (BKK) and the popular tourist island of Samui on 15 May
2020.
The airline will initially operate two return
trips per day.
Samui airport will be open from 08:00 - 19:00
Flights will have to comply with the strictly
safety measures and social distancing guidelines set by the
Ministry of Public Health and the Civil Aviation Authority of
Thailand.
Measures include temperature checks before
boarding as well as social distancing at check-in, during
boarding, disembarkation and for the seat allocation onboard.
There will be no inflight food and beverage
service and passengers are not allowed to consume their own food and/or drinks
onboard.
All crew members will be wearing masks and gloves when on
duty, and passengers are required to bring and wear their own protective mask
at all times during flight.
Bangkok Airways is also expected to reopen Sukhothai and Trat
airports in the future, though an exact date has not yet been
finalised.
