It will be Hong Kongs first time since the 2008 Beijing Olympics to welcome the worlds top 25 riders and select top notch Asian riders and horses, to compete in a 5-Star International Show Jumping competition.

Participating riders include the current world No. 1 Christian Ahlmann from Germany, London Olympic Gold medalist Ben Maher from the UK, the worlds No. 1 female rider Edwina Tops Alexander from Australia and former European Champion Kevin Staut from France.

Top-notch Asian riders, including Hong Kong riders Kenneth Cheng and Raena Leung and Japanese rider Eiken Sato, are also set to compete alongside with some of the worlds best in a total of six different classes over the three days of competitions.

A series of educational, yet fun, activities have been arranged at the paddock area to give the public a better understanding about the sport, and offer opportunities for the guests to get up close to the magnificent horses.

A special performance from the world-renowned equestrian artist and performer Clmence Faivre has also been arranged for every evening, where she will perform her famous freedom work with horses and in Haute Ecole, while two-star Michelin Chef Yves Mattagne will be creating culinary treats for the VIP guests.

The organizers expect up to 25,000 visitors over the three days, of which 2,000 will be local VIPs from Hong Kong and around the world.
