[HD video below] A splash of colour, some design modifications, larger drop down desk and very useful multi-socket plugs in the room, are some of the welcome enhancements recently made to the Tune Hotel Downtown Kuala Lumpur.

The changes are part of a brand-wide make over for the fast growing budget hotel group, with the Tune Hotel Downtown Kuala Lumpur the first to benefit.

In the HD video below, filmed on 28 November 2012, you can see for yourself the changes that have been made to the rooms and how they look now.

While most of the rooms are of very similar size and layout, the hotel does have a few slightly large rooms that it does (not yet) charge any extra for, and if you would like one then you should try to request one at either check-in or at the time of booking.

Tune Hotels now has 27 hotels available for bookings located in Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, KLIA-LCCT Airport, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kota Damansara, Bintulu, Kota Bharu and Kulim in Malaysia; Kuta and Legian in Bali and Jakarta in Indonesia; Westminster, Liverpool Street, Paddington and Kings Cross in London and Tune Hotel Edinburgh, Scotland in the United Kingdom; Angeles City, Cebu City, Ermita and Makati in Manila in the Philippines; Hatyai, Pattaya, Asoke, Bangkok and soon-to-be-opened Tune Hotel Patong, Phuket in Thailand.
