6. Delta to Offer All Inflight Entertainment for Free
Delta Studio, the airline's suite of onboard entertainment, will be free to all customers on two-class aircraft, nearly 90% of Delta's fleet, by 1 July 2016 the airline has confirmed. More than 1,000 aircraft offer Delta Studio via streaming through laptops, mobile devices and tablets, in addition to nearly 400 aircraft equipped with seat-back entertainment systems.
7. Cancun, Mexico to Host IATA AGM and World Air Transport Summit in 2017
Aeromexico will host the 73rd IATA Annual General Meeting (AGM) and World Air Transport Summit in Cancun, Mexico from 4-6 June 2017. Aeromexico has been a member of IATA since 1958. Andres Conesa, the airlines CEO, has served on the IATA Board of Governors since 2008, including as its Chairman for the 2015-2016 term.
