STR has appointed Amanda Hite as Chief Strategy Officer and Brad Garner as Chief Operations Officer.

In her new role, Hite will direct and oversee the strategic and long-range goal planning function for STR. She also will be responsible for overseeing STR's family of companies.

Prior to joining STR in 2006, Hite was the Director of Research for the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. Hite is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College with a B.S. in Business Administration.

Garner will be responsible for managing and directing the day-to-day activities of STR's core business operations. He will continue to be a primary contact for STR clients, customers and the investment bank and institutional investor industries.

Garner joined STR in 1995 shortly after earning his BS degree in marketing from Old Dominion University.

"As STR and its family of companies continue to grow and evolve, it has become necessary to expand our senior management team and position the organization for continued success," said Mark Lomanno, president at STR. "Both Brad and Amanda have continuously demonstrated the skill, desire, ingenuity and dedication necessary to lead the day to day operations of STR and its family of companies going forward."
