193. Tigerair to Launch Quanzhou and Lucknow Flights
Tigerair is to launch flights from Singapore to Quanzhou and Lucknow. The flights will both be operated three times weekly with Airbus A320 aircraft. Flights to Quanzhou are scheduled to commence on 28 September 2015, while the inaugural flight to Lucknow is scheduled to begin on 3 December 2015.

The one-way flight takes about seven hours.

Wyndham Hotel Group has appointed Eduardo Cruz del Rio as Vice President of Operations for Latin America and the Caribbean. Cruz Del Rio will report to Paulo Pena, Wyndham Hotel Group’s president and managing director for the region, and will be based in the company’s Parsippany, New Jersey, headquarters.
198. Qantas Unveils Plan to Acquire 8 Boeing 787-9s
Qantas has unveiled plans to acquire eight Boeing 787-9s which will gradually replace five of its older Boeing 747s on Qantas International routes and open up a range of potential new city pairs. Qantas said that four B787-9s will arrive in financial year 2018 and four will arrive in financial year 2019. This will leave the Qantas Group with its six youngest reconfigured B747s.

Etihad Airways has teamed up with global concierge service provider, Ten Group, to serve the needs of passengers in The Residence – a private three-room suite exclusively on board the airline’s Airbus A380 fleet. Ten Group will provide a specially trained Etihad Lifestyle Concierge team who will work closely with the airline’s London Savoy-trained Butlers.
