SAS is currently testing what it calls “Silent Morning Flights”. The new initiative eliminates most inflight announcements, with the exception of the safety briefing, from flights departing prior to 09:00. The Silent Morning Flights service is being trialled on all SAS domestic and intra-Scandinavia flights until end-September 2016.
