GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of General Electric, has finalised an order with Boeing for 10 787-10 Dreamliners. The order, valued at $2.9 billion at list prices, completes the commitment originally announced during the 2013 Paris Air Show in June and builds momentum in the airplane leasing market for the 787-10.

125. Singapore Airlines and Tata Sons to Establish New Airline
Singapore Airlines and Tata Sons have signed a Memorandum of Understanding and applied for Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) approval to establish a new airline in India. Subject to FIPB and other regulatory approvals, the airline will be based in New Delhi and will operate under the full-service model. Tata Sons will own 51% and Singapore Airlines will own 49%.
