Call for Papers for ITB Berlin eTravelWorld 2014

ITB Berlin is calling for papers for the eTravelWorld, which from 5 to 7 March 2014 will be taking place at what is regarded by many as the world’s leading travel trade show.

Papers and workshops at the eTravelWorld will be providing the latest on mobile solutions and social media developments in the travel industry.

As of now travel industry and internet tourism decision-makers can apply for one of the coveted speakers’ slots at this event.

Entries are invited on the following topics: the opportunities and risks which the social web poses for the travel industry, social networking as an information and sales strategy element, eTravel and navigation as well as Big Data, wearable technology and augmented reality.

Since 2011 the eTravelWorld has become one of the leading events dealing with the internet in the international travel industry, where experts and practitioners highlight the latest trends and examples of best practices. In addition to senior tourism industry executives from around 180 countries participants in the eTravelWorld include social media and travel management decision-makers at every level as well as bloggers, new media specialists and promising newcomers.

Entrants eager to present a fascinating internet topic are invited to submit their contact details, information on and a description of the subject, as well as the paper’s duration, its added value and target audience by 1 November 2013. Applicants will be notified if they have been selected for participation in the eTravelWorld by 13 December 2013.
