Singapore Airlines (SIA) is to invest more than SGD50 million in a major revamp of its SilverKris and KrisFlyer Gold Lounges at Changi Airport Terminal 3. Renovations are due to commence in August 2019 and are expected to be completed by mid-2021.

Air Astanas fleet of Embraer E-190 airliners has grown to eight aircraft following a delivery in late December 2013. The aircraft will be operated on both domestic routes and regional services to the CIS and Caucasus. The first Embraer E-190 joined the Air Astana fleet in March 2011.
79. Air Canada Reports Record Load Factors for December and Full Year 2013
Air Canada has reported a record system load factor for December 2013 of 82.7%, versus 82.1% in December 2013, an increase of 0.6 percentage points. System traffic increased 4.8% on a system-wide capacity increase of 4.0%. For the full year 2013, load factor was a record 82.8%, versus 82.7%, an increase of 0.1 percentage points.
80. JAL Group Reports Traffic from New Year Vacation Period
JAL Group carried a total of 426,480 passengers on its international flights and 1,635,101 passengers domestically during the 17 day New Year vacation period in Japan between 20 December 2013 and 5 January 2014. The number of passengers on JAL's international routes went up 3.2% when compared to the same period last year, against a 2.5% increase in the number of available seats.
