AirAsia X carried 0.64million passengers in Q1 2011, an increase of 56.5% over the same quarter in 2010. The airline added six new routes Mumbai, Delhi, Tehran, Seoul, Tokyo, and Paris and its aircraft fleet size also increased from 8 to 11.
