On Thursday, Sukhoi signed a contract
with Thai Kom Airlines for six SSJ100 aircraft.
Thai Kom Airlines had originally signed a LOI
for the six aircraft in December 2018.
Delivery of the six SSJ100, each configured
with 100-seats, is expected to take place this year and next, with
delivery of the first SSJ100 scheduled for Autumn 2019.
The contract is worth approximately
US$300 million at current list prices.
technical maintenance of the SSJ100s will be carried out by WishV,
maintenance and repair organization registered in Thailand. Kom Airlines
has indicated that it plans to
operate the SSJ100s both inside the country and abroad.
There are currently three business versions
of the SSJ100 aircraft being
operated by the Royal Thai Air Force (pictured).
