Executive Appointments at Pandaw River Cruises

Pandaw - an operator of luxury small ship river cruises on the Mekong River through Vietnam and Cambodia; the Red River and Halong Bay in Vietnam; Laos, China and Thailand on the Upper Mekong; the Irrawaddy and Chindwin rivers in Myanmar - has made the following appointments to its management team.

Marco Rosa, Pandaw's new vice president sales and marketing, has held senior positions in the high-end experiential travel industry stretching back over 20 years.

Marco has worked in top roles for some of the biggest names in the luxury travel market, including as worldwide sales and marketing for Orient-Express Trains & Cruises and Abercromby & Kent, where he headed the hospitality division under the Sanctuary Retreats brand.

A graduate in finance and economics from the University of Palermo, he has lived in England since 1999.

Sven Zika, Sales & Marketing Manager, started with Pandaw in Cambodia in early 2013 and relocated to the UK in 2014. After two years in London he will re-join the team back in Phnom Penh in October 2016.

Swiss-born Sven has several years of experience at travel agencies, tour operators and DMCs in Switzerland, USA and Cambodia, as well as extensive travel and knowledge of Southeast Asia.

Steven Dobbins has been appointed as Sales Manager for North America and Central Europe.

Over the past 10 years he has worked for German-based private train and river cruise specialist Lernidee Erlebnisreisen as well as for the US-based small ship operator Haimark Travel developing new markets and client relationships around the world.

Prior to working within the tourism idustry, Steven held management positions in the market research departments of Coca-Cola and RJ Reynolds analysing consumer trends.

Beatrice Pecorelli, also known as Bea, is Pandaw’s newly-appointed marketing manager based in the UK.

With a career spanning over 15 years she brings a wealth of marketing knowledge to Pandaw, plus a proven track record in building and sustaining successful marketing strategies on and off line from both the travel and online financial space.
