Cargogate Appoints Michael Richter as Managing Director

The Munich-based cargo handling company Cargogate has appointed Michael Richter as Managing Director.

AeroGround, Cargogate and aerogate comprise Munich Airport's integrated group of ground handling companies with a joint sales function that serves as a single point of contact for the entire range of handling services from check-in through to cargo operations and the loading and unloading of aircraft.

Cargogate has 180 employees and handles approximately 100,000 tons of cargo annually.

With about 500 employees, aerogate provides passenger services, handling 4 million passengers a year for 45 airline customers.

Richter has extensive experience in passenger, cargo and ground handling services and has an excellent reputation in the market for his focus on customers and service.
