Online Quotas Already Full for Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2014

The Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association (HKAAA) has announced that interest in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2014 has been phenomenal.

Online enrollment for the Marathon (42.195km) is now closed, after all application quotas were taken up.

A limited quota of places is still available for postal applications.

Registration for the Half Marathon and 10km races will commence on 22 October and 29 October, respectively.

Chairman of the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2014 Organizing Committee, Mr William Ko, said, "We are glad to see such a tremendous response. Even though enrollment quotas for the Marathon were increased this year, the cap on the number of participants was reached very quickly. In the coming months, we hope to see all registered runners start preparing and training if they haven't already begun doing so, building themselves up for strength and endurance."
