Nok Air to Increase Flights to Nan

Nok Air is to increase its flight frequency between Bangkok (Don Muang) and Nan in the North East of Thailand.

The new flights to and from Nan will operate from 11 April 2012 with a 34-seat SAAB 340B, chartered from Siam General Aviation Co., Ltd. (Nok Mini).

Nok Air was first established on 10 February 2004 under the company Sky Asia Co., Ltd. In Thai Nok means bird, and the name was chosen to symbolize friendship and the freedom to travel, or 'fly everywhere'.

On 16 January 2006, the company name was changed to Nok Airlines Co., Ltd.
