Marriott Opens Renaissance Huizhou Hotel

Marriott has opened the 342-room Renaissance Huizhou Hotel in China.

The hotel opened under a long-term management agreement with GuangzhouR&F Properties Development Co., an existing long-term partner of Marriott. The hotel represents R&F’s sixth hotel with Marriott International, and is the first Marriott property to open in Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, and also the first Renaissance Hotels branded hotel to open in Pearl River Delta.

We are confident that this will help to raise awareness of the city and drive great business to Huizhou, with Marriott International committed to promoting the hotel and destination to local and international travellers.”

The Renaissance Huizhou Hotel is located in the heart of Jiang Bei Central Business District with close proximity to Huizhou City Government, International Convention Center, key office buildings and a luxury shopping mall.

Renaissance Hotels, which was acquired by Marriott International in 1997. In 2008, the brand began an intense journey to firmly establish itself in the lifestyle hospitality space and differentiate itself from other Marriott International brands by introducing game changing programs, including the Navigator program and RLife LIVE, an entertainment platform showcasing emerging musical artists through live performances in Renaissance Hotels around the world.

In May, Renaissance Hotels will launch its first global advertising campaign – “Live Life to Discover”. The new multi-faceted campaign, which comes to life through print, digital and on-property experiences, aims to inspire today's lifestyle-oriented business traveler to explore a hotel or destination’s hidden gems through recommendations from on-site Renaissance Hotels ‘Navigators’, the brand’s hospitality lifestyle concierge service.

The Renaissance Huizhou features 247 deluxe rooms, 76 club rooms, 18 club suites and one Presidential suite. Each guestroom offers a minimum of 47 square meters of space with a number of well-appointed amenities, including an LCD screen television, high speed internet and Wi-Fi access, and iPod docking station.

The Club Lounge, located on the 47th and 48th floor, offers West Lake and East River views. All club floor guests are entitled to complimentary continental breakfast, afternoon high tea, evening cocktail, wireless internet access and two hours’ meeting room usage.

The Renaissance Huizhou Hotel offers an array of beverage and food facilities which, consisting of four restaurants and lounges located on the 28th and 29th floors, serve an extensive range of local and international cuisines.

With 11 dedicated meeting rooms and a total event space spanning 2,280 square meters, including a 550-square meter, natural light foyer with full river view, as well as a 1,380-square meter grand ballroom that is divisible into five sections, the hotel offers extensive MICE and banquet facilities.

For relaxation, guests can enjoy the indoor swimming pool with a glass roof or the 24-hour fitness center, which comes fully equipped with modern cardio machines, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room on the 30th floor. Enoch Touch Spa offers seven treatment rooms, with a professional massage therapist on hand to help guests relieve stress.

Huizhou lies in the southeast part of Guangzhou Province and the northeast part of Pearl River Delta, which offers more than 1,700-years of history. The hotel is an ideal place from which to explore the surrounding area, including West Lake, Luofu Mountain, Nankun Mountain and the only seaport turtle natural protection region in China.
