Dario Orsini Appointed General Manager of Sheraton Bali Kuta

Mr Dario Orsini has joined the Sheraton Bali Kuta as General Manager. He will be responsible for the 203 room resort which is scheduled to open in September 2012.

Born in Naples, Italy, Dario graduated from Instituto Professionale Alberghiero di Stato Ippolito Cavalcanti majoring in Food & Beverage and hotel management.

Dario’s more than 25 years hotel background and extensive travels, brings a wealth of experience to his future team at Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort.

Prior to joining the Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort, Dario held the position of Hotel Manager at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali.

He started his career in one of the most upmarket restaurants in Napoli, Il Sangire’ in the notoriously fashionable street of Via Dei Mille.

He began his Starwood Journey at the Sheraton in Perth in 2001 and has since enjoyed positions at the Sheraton Royal Orchid Bangkok, Thailand and the Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and since 2007 in Bali at the Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali.

Dario is married and has three children who enjoy calling Bali home. Dario enjoys challenging himself with fitness goals and both watching and playing football.
