Marriott Opens Renaissance Guiyang Hotel

Marriott has expanded its portfolio of hotels in China with the opening of the 340-room Renaissance Guiyang Hotel in China.

The hotel is located in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, an emerging city for business and leisure activities in southwest China, and represents the 15th Renaissance property to open in the country.

Located in Jinyang New District of Guiyang, the Renaissance Guiyang Hotel is situated 15 minutes away from the city centre which houses the local government administration office, the Guiyang International Conference and Exhibition Centre and International Financial Centre. The Banking Regulatory Commission of Guizhou, Guanshan Park and Guiyang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone are also situated in this district, with the hotel conveniently located close to the airport and railway station of Guiyang.

Renaissance Guiyang Hotel features six dining and entertainment options that offer guests a variety of choices, including local and international cuisine. New Dynasty is a classic Cantonese restaurant with 10 private dining rooms, whilst Bai Wei is a casual Chinese restaurant featuring renowned Sichuan and local dishes. BLD is a buffet-style restaurant showcasing cuisine from key cities around the world.

The Chocolate Cake Company is a comfortable café located in the hotel lobby, offering guests quick snack options. Finally, the hotel is home to two bars: the R Bar located in the lobby, and Vue, a rooftop bar atop the 23rd floor that provides views of Guiyang.

All 340 guest rooms, inclusive of 19 spacious suites, are equipped with wireless and high-speed internet access, iPod docking stations, flat screen TVs, state-of-the-art technology and a full array of amenities.

For MICE, the hotel features 1,230 square meters of banquet space, including a 700-square meter grand ballroom, six function rooms and one VIP room.

Additional amenities at the hotel include a state of the art business center, indoor pool and a 24-hour fitness center which is fully equipped with cardiovascular machines and Olympics weights. Wireless internet connectivity is available in all public areas of the hotel.

Guizhou Province boasts many beautiful landscapes such as the renowned Huangguoshu Waterfall, Tian Xing Bridge, Water-Curtain Cave and Rhinoceros Pool (Xi Niu Tan).
