TravelEdge, a leading Australian Travel Management company, has completed the implementation of Amadeus Selling Platform, a retailing application for travel professionals, together with a mobile tool for itinerary management, Amadeus’ CheckMyTrip.

“The new agreement with Amadeus has brought a strong and responsive partner whom we trust to deliver the best possible solutions for our clients and for our business,” said Sue Hollis, Managing Director for TravelEdge. “Amadeus’ project management has been exceptional and seamless. The entire process was relatively effortless and much easier than we anticipated.”

Angela Santelmann, General Manager, TravelEdge added, “The ability to quote and ticket complex air itineraries has been the biggest benefit to us at this stage compared to our previous system. I feel confident knowing that 95% of the world airlines' scheduled seats are on the Amadeus system which gives our customers a plethora of choice ... Furthermore, the Amadeus Selling Platform gives our team faster, more intuitive access to a greater range of travel content. It also allows our experienced consultants either the use of cryptic entries or point and click.”

With the Amadeus Selling Platform, TravelEdge will have access to more than 430 bookable airlines and 110,000 hotels.
