Dusit International has appointed seasoned hotelier, Mr. David Shackleton, as Chief Operating Officer.

In this newly created role, Mr. Shackleton will drive the operational performance and maximization of profitability for all hotels within the group. With three decades of senior experience in the hotel industry, including VP level positions with Starwood and InterContinental, Mr. Shackleton is well poised to lead the hotels during a period of rapid growth for Dusit International.

Dusit International has made additional senior appointments including Mr. Ryan Chen, as Assistant Director of Development for South East Asia; Mr. Andrew Shaw, Director of Development for the Middle East (based in Dubai) and Mr. Sunil Mathur, Vice President of South Asia based in New Delhi. Bangkok-based Mr. Rustom Vickers is responsible for overall global development while respected industry veteran, Harris Yang, is the Director for Development, North and East Asia, supported by Mr. Edmond Hui, newly appointed Director of Techincal Services, Greater China.

Dusit International currently comprises four hotel brands: Dusit Thani, dusitD2, Dusit Princess, Dusit Devarana. It also operates its own signature Devarana Spa.
