Air Canada flight AC088, en route to Toronto from Shanghai, was diverted to Calgary after hitting turbulence en route. 21 passengers were transferred directly to local hospitals from the airport, comprising 8 with non-life threatening injuries, and 13 for observation.

Etihad Airways today issued a statement to express its disappointment of the German court’s decision to withdraw approval for codeshare services with airberlin on 29 routes. Etihad Airways owns 29.2% of airberlin, which is Germany’s second largest airline. The airline said it is reviewing the judgment and will file an appeal against the decision early next week.
