Lan Chile Commences Sydney / Santiago route

The first Lan Chile Airbus A340-300 arrived in Sydney yesterday, as part of a new arrangement with Qantas.

Lan Chile will operate three times weekly from Sydney to Santiago, via Auckland, departing at 10.15am every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The flight is scheduled to arrive in Santiago at 12.05pm local time the same day.

Flights from Santiago depart at 11.20pm each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, arriving in Australia at 7.40am Wednesday, Friday and Monday.

The Lan Chile A340 seats 269 passengers in a three-class cabin - 5 in First Class, 36 in Business Class and 228 in Economy Class. Every passenger has a personal video screen.
