AIRBUS LAUNCHES NEW CORPORATE WEBSITE

19 June 2002

Airbus' website, www.airbus.com, has been entirely revamped to reflect the company's new corporate identity and international scope. As well as a complete facelift in line with new graphic design standards, the site has been reconfigured to include a host of new information and functions, as well as an on-line magazine, AIRBUS4U.

AIRBUS4U was designed to provide readers with a transverse and constantly up-dated overview of the company's activities in all areas. It picks up feature stories from each of the four more specialised sections of the site and augments them with additional news items, the latest photographs, regularly updated "briefs", and a calendar of events. AIRBUS4U also offers a subscription news service by e-mail and the ability to download articles or to forward them directly by e-mail.

The new site, updated in real time and providing exceptional ease of navigation, is organised into four main "home" sections, which visitors can bookmark depending on their particular area of interest. "About Airbus" covers all corporate information and news; "Customer Services" features information on all after-sales support; "Aircraft Families" provides exhaustive content on Airbus' highly successful product line; and the Media Centre houses the latest press releases as well as a new "Library" section to be continually enriched with background material. All the information and services that visitors have appreciated in the past have, of course, been maintained, such as the multimedia gallery of photos and other electronic media.

www.airbus.com will be further enhanced over the coming months with even more sections and features. In particular, a special edition of AIRBUS4U is planned for end July, reporting live from Farnborough Air Show.

A leading aircraft manufacturer with the most modern and comprehensive product line on the market, Airbus is a global company with design and manufacturing facilities in France, Germany, the UK, and Spain as well as subsidiaries in the U.S., China and Japan. Headquartered in Toulouse, France, Airbus is an EADS joint Company with BAE SYSTEMS.
