The Spa at Hilton Hua Hin, Thailand, offers travellers wellness rituals from East to West

Travel News Asia 15 August 2002

Inspired by the grandeur of ancient Khmer architecture, the rich and luxurious setting of The Spa at Hilton Hua Hin in Thailand offers travelers the road to wellness using treatment rituals from the East and West.

Ten exquisite single and double treatment rooms invite customers to pamper themselves in privacy while enjoying the experience and view of the Gulf of Thailand.

Highly trained and qualified Thai therapists provide treatments that range from the most modern Western therapies to traditional treatments of the Orient. They also provide advice to every spa customer who seek to luxuriate and rejuvenate themselves through traditional massages, beneficial aromatic senses and powerful healing herbs and simple enjoyment of beauty treatments using natural products, pure essential oils, fresh fruits and herbs, Thai honey, and rich mineral salts and invigorating mud.

Since it opened in December 2001, The Spa is noted for its most popular body massage treatment – Royal Massage. Dubbed as “Massage of Kings”, the spa’s therapist blends techniques from Swedish massage, aromatherapy with relaxing senses, Thai shiatsu and Ayurvedic traditions that would soothe and de-stress the tired mind and body.

A beauty salon is also located within the spa area and offers beauty treatments such as facial, manicure, pedicure, waxing and hair services.

Managed by The Spa of Siam, The Spa, which is located on the Mezzanine Floor of the Hilton, covers the spa mansion and private garden pavilions within the landscaped gardens of the newly-refurbished 296-room Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa. Its successful integration with the resort’s upgraded facilities and services will attract many travelers to experience a new level of hospitality and facilities offered by Hilton in Thailand’s most historic seaside town, Hua Hin.

The Spa has available an extensive spa treatment menu list. There are special spa packages to suit individual taste and demand such as Touch of Heaven, Traveller’s Recovery Pack, Royal Indulgence, Body Bliss, Inner Balance and Pure Pleasure. Depending on the selection of package, treatment duration varies between two to three hours.
