Shintaro @ The Regent Bangkok Offers New Summer Salmon Promotion

14 June 2002

Renowned for their aesthetic sense of style and design especially when it concerns the art of food, a Japanense culinary celebration featuring salmon is planned at Shintaro (at The Regent Bangkok) from Monday, June 17 to Sunday, June 30. Shintaro's creative and talented Japanese Chef Sawada is creating special lunch and dinner items that will highlight the beauty and taste of his favourite fish at Shintaro's Salmon Promotion.

Over the last 100 years salmon has made waves in elite culinary circles and household kitchens around the world, not only due to its rich taste, but also because of its high content of vitamins A and B and Omega-3 oils.

Chef Sawada and his team look forward to presenting the following salmon dishes prepared with Japanese finesse to whet your appetite, from Baht 180++ to Baht 590++:

· Wafu Salmon Mousse (Salmon Mousse with Pot-Sticker Chips)

· Shake Butter Nitsuke (Simmered Salmon Fillet, Soy-Butter Broth)

· Shake Kohso Yaki (Grilled Soy-Herb Marinating Salmon, Trio Oil Essence with Hakutsuru Sake)

· Shake Nikogori (Salmon Consomme of Jelly with Chanti Sauce)

· Shake Yubiki (Salmon Shabu-Shabu, Japanese Vegetables, Saseme-Ponzu dip with Kikumasamune Sake)

· Matcha Salmon Rolls (Green Tea Rolls with Salmon, Avocado and Cucumber with Hakushika Sake)

· Ryokuso Surinagashi (Wonton with Salmon filling in Spinach Soup)

· Shake Peanut Balsamic Salad (Salad of Salmon and Crunched Peanut with Soy-Balsamic Dressing)

Choose any two of the above dishes with a bottle of Hakushika Suzuro Sake at a special price of Baht 1,150++.

Enjoy the sake of the month, Hakushika Suzuro at Baht 690++ per bottle.

In addition to Chef Sawada's enticing lunch and dinner menus, the popular set lunch menu continues to attract busy executives who are pressed for time. Shintaro is open daily from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm and 5:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
