THAI Clarifies Incident Involving Flight TG251

On 10 August 2002, at 0839 hours, Thai Airways International’s flight TG251 Bangkok-Trang, after landing came to a stop two meters past the end of the runway at Trang Airport. It was raining at Trang Airport at the time. All passengers were able to disembark the aircraft normally. There were no injuries and no damage to the aircraft. THAI has made arrangements for all passengers booked on the return flight. 

Flight TG251 departed from Bangkok early this morning at 0715 hours, carrying a total of 145 passengers and seven flight crew.

Flight TG251 was operated by B737-400, registration number HSTDD. THAI currently has a total of 81 aircraft in its fleet, out of which 10 are B737-400.
