NEW YEAR 2002 CELEBRATION IS A CARNIVAL

Travel News Asia Date: 9 November 2001

Grand Carnival Marquee Welcomes In the New Year at the Jebel Ali Hotel & Golf Resort's Club Joumana

Preparations for an extraordinary 2002 New Year's Celebration Gala evening are now under way at the Jebel Ali Hotel & Golf Resort.

A Grand Carnival Marquee outside the resort's Club Joumana will host this exclusive black tie event. The Carnival Theme will be enhanced by international orchestra Coup de Folie, a seven-piece band who will be playing popular numbers from the fifties through the nineties throughout the night.

The unstoppable French dance troupe Parissimo will also entertain and excite partygoers with two half-hour stage shows, which will include dance performances ranging from the classic CanCan to exotic Brazilian styles; while a breathtaking fireworks display will welcome in the New Year.

A fabulous gala dinner buffet and a full complement of standard beverages including champagne will be available to all our guests throughout the night, with the traditional onion soup being served at 4:00am.

Junior partygoers up to 15 years old don't have to skip the festivities. A special venue not far from the Grand Carnival Marquee is being set up especially for the younger guests, who will have their own buffet featuring children's favourite finger foods and entertainment made to order, including juggling acts, clowns, face painting and games.

For more information and advance reservations call the Jebel Ali Hotel & Golf Resort on 971-4-883 6000. Limited seating availability.
