Edna Hischer joins Regent International Hotels as Regional Sales Director in London

Regent International Hotels today announced the appointment of Edna Hischer as regional sales director based in London. In her new position, Hischer is responsible for maximizing Regent's sales efforts by establishing and maintaining key UK and European-based accounts for Regent International Hotels in all segments, including corporate, meetings, conferences and leisure.

“Edna brings a wealth of experience in all key European markets to our Regent sales team,” said Vicki Sieger, vice president of marketing and sales for Regent International Hotels. “She has experience both on property and regionally with several luxury hotels in London. Because of her experience in hotel operations as well as sales, she will be able to serve clients with a broad understanding of their business needs.”

With more than ten years of experience in the hospitality industry, Hischer has worked at some of London's most prestigious luxury hotels, including The Dorchester, The Savoy Group and Le Meridien. Most recently, Hischer was the assistant director of sales and marketing at The Ritz, London where she developed and maintained the needs of key hotel clients in Europe and the United States.

Based in three major international cities (London, Los Angeles and New York), the regional sales directors for Regent International Hotels are responsible for generating business on a global basis for Regent's current locations, as well as providing a support structure for the company’s global expansion plan.

Hischer graduated with distinction from the hotel management program at Wirtschaftsakademie Kiel. She is fluent in English, German and French.
