Pegasus Solutions’ Utell Signs Paradise Hotel & Casino Pusan, Korea

Paradise Hotel & Casino Pusan, the only Las Vegas Style Casino Hotel in Pusan, Korea with a complete casino facility and outdoor hot spring spas, signed a three-year agreement with Utell for voice, GDS and internet representation. Utell, a Pegasus Solutions Company, (Nasdaq: PEGS) is the hotel industry’s largest third party marketing and reservations provider.

Located near Haeundae Beach and Korea’s most popular resort area, Paradise Hotel offers a spectacular view of the sea. The hotel has two fully equipped gymnasiums, two outdoor swimming pools and massage services catering to business and leisure travellers. Recently refurbished, the 521-room hotel has six meeting rooms with modern meeting facilities, which can accommodate up to 1,240 people in theatre seating arrangement. The sister properties of the Paradise group include Paradise Hotels in Jeju Island, Dogo, and Incheon, Korea; and Kenya.

Paradise’s appointment of Utell as its representation service allows it to take advantage of Utell’s strong presence in the global market place. Utell will provide Paradise worldwide reservations support through its voice reservation contact centres, seamless connectivity with global distribution systems (GDS) under the ‘UI’ chain code and via the Internet. Utell will also support Paradise in handling data management, revenue and yield management, and marketing services.

Utell will assist Paradise Hotel & Casino Pusan by classifying its property through Utell selections, an innovative hotel classification system that segments Utell’s 6,400 properties into well-defined categories to assist travel agents in finding the perfect hotels for clients whilst driving reservations and generating revenue. Utell selections segment hotels into three core categories (luxury, superior and value), and into four niche categories (style, resort, apartment or airport). Under the Utell selections, Paradise Hotel is classified under the luxury and resort categories.
