Delivering Asia has been appointed sales and marketing representative for Sanctuary Resorts

Travel News Asia Date: 8 August 2001

As of the 1st August 2001, Delivering Asia has been appointed sales and marketing representative for Sanctuary Resorts.

Sanctuary Resorts is the brainchild of Andrew Jones a veteran hotelier whose vision is to create an environment where guests can not only relax but refresh their body, mind and spirit. The Sanctuary Resorts' setting achieve harmony between nature and architecture, allowing guests the rare opportunity for peaceful reflection.

Sanctuary Resorts are not for everyone. They are designed for travelers who want to experience an opportunity to maximise their time and potential while exploring and appreciating the local culture and heritage.

The first Sanctuary Resort is located in the tranquil surroundings of Yogyakarta. The Queen of the South is nestled in a natural garden environment overlooking Parangtritis Beach with sweeping views over the Indian Ocean. Only 40 minutes from Yogyakarta, this tranquil and secluded resort caters to the seasoned traveler who is looking for a more peaceful environment.

Delivering Asia was selected by Andrew Jones, Guardian of Sanctuary Resorts, as he felt the company shared a similar vision and desire to provide alternatives to the mainstream travel products. "We found in Delivering Asia the marketing professionalism that also shared our vision of promoting sustainable tourism projects that benefit not only the traveler, but also the communities in which we operate" said Jones.

More Sanctuary Resorts are planned. The next Sanctuary Resort will be in the beautiful setting of Nusa Dua, Bali. The Bale is scheduled to open late 2001.
