Finnair technical workers' strike cancelled

Travel News Asia Date: 6 September 2001

The negotiation between Finnair technical workers' association and Finnair management progressed to such an extent that the strike, which began last night at 10pm, was called off this morning at 7am.

The morning's scheduled return flights to Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Gothenburg and Tallinn as well as the morning flight from Helsinki to Rovaniemi are cancelled as previously announced. No other flights will be cancelled because of the strike.

We regret any inconvenience to passengers caused by this strike. Finnair will do its best to book passengers on cancelled flights to other flights. Unused tickets for cancelled flights will be refunded.
