ACCOR DENIES INTEREST IN BID FOR REGAL HOTELS

Accor Asia Pacific denies it has any interest in bidding for Hong Kong-based Regal Hotel’s portfolio as rumoured in recent press reports.

Accor has not conducted discussions with Regal Hotels regarding the sale, and has no interest in taking an equity stake in the company.

Accor reiterates its past position that any major acquisition will be conducted in conjunction with its Paris head office, and press speculation is not conducive to productive business discussions.
