Travel News Asia Date: 6 April 2001

EventClicks, Asia-Pacific’s leading corporate events management company is pleased to announce its strategic partnership with China-based niche Public Relations and Event Planner agency, B&B International.

In a move to amplify its presence and increase its corporate event management support services in China, EventClicks has joined forces with B&B International.

Annie Fournier – EventClicks’ Vice President, Strategic Development said, “We have recognised an increasing interest in China as a prime destination for world-class events and as a result are currently enhancing our web site content to include over 60 new venues in secondary Chinese cities. It is therefore essential for EventClicks to have increased local presence in China to service this growing business. With their extensive experience and strong reputation in China, B&B compliment well our growing international network and we are confident that this agreement will be extremely beneficial for both parties.”

B&B International, is a communications and event planning company based in Beijing with a branch office in Shanghai. Maria Boyd, one of the company’s founding partners, pioneered the concept of organising exclusive events to the highest international standards in China in the mid-80s, when she represented Lindblad Travel, the first deluxe tour operator in the China market.

Commenting on the new strategic collaboration with EventClicks, Mrs. Boyd said, “Our association with EventClicks will enhance our offer to the business community in China. We now are able to ensure that our clients will receive the same level of personalised service and attention to details for which we are known in China regardless of where they decide to host their events and incentive trips in the Asia-Pacific region.”

By becoming an “Associate” of EventClicks, event managers and meeting planners can have access to a host of support services and assistance offered by EventClicks. This tailor-made program is specifically designed to enhance the capabilities of the meeting planner whilst allowing them to retain their independence.

Through such tactical alliances, EventClicks establishes solid partnerships with experienced associates in key destinations, thus providing a “total solution” to corporate event management needs in the Asia-Pacific region.
