The 577-room Mutiara Kuala Lumpur officially dawn the skyline of Kuala Lumpur on April 1, 2001 replacing the former Hilton Kuala Lumpur with a new brand identity, Mutiara. The hotel will be managed by PERNAS Hotel Management Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of PERNAS International Holdings Berhad.

The property stands majestically on a 5-hectare hillock, commanding excellent location right in the heart of the city’s golden triangle. Set to trailblaze the new paths in the hospitality scene, Mutiara Kuala Lumpur will take the finely crafted Malaysian hospitality to new heights while delivering world class accommodation and service.

Mutiara Kuala Lumpur provides full list of modern amenities and services to cater for those on business or leisure. The grand main lobby entrance, world class restaurants serving local, Oriental and International cuisines, a cigar salon, bars and lounges, café and delicatessen and shopping arcades are part of the hotel’s many offerings.

To celebrate the opening of Mutiara Kuala Lumpur, the hotel has come up with a special package - Mutiara Welcome Package, valid until June 30, 2001 . Priced at RM299 nett per person per night, the benefits include accommodation in a single superior room, complimentary breakfast at the Planters’ Inn, free local calls, one complimentary suit pressing and a late check out time subject to availability. In addition, guests who opt to stay for two nights will enjoy free stay for the third night.

Towering high on the 20th to 24th floor, guestrooms on the Mutiara Club Floor offer stunning views of the Kuala Lumpur city with a concept of "home away from home". Guests enjoy private check-in and check-out facilities and are assisted by a dedicated Mutiara Club Manager.
