SINGAPORE MARRIOTT HOTEL WELCOMES THE NEW DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

With the departure of Mr Paul Rushton, the Singapore Marriott Hotel is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Nicholas Tse as the new Director of Marketing.

Educated in England and a graduate in Hotel Management School “Les Roches” (Swiss Hotel Association) – Crans Montana - Switzerland, Mr Tse was the Director of Sales in the Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon for 2 years prior to joining the Singapore Marriott Hotel. Under his dynamic leadership, he was responsible for assisting the hotel with its pre-opening in August 1999, directing the Sales & Marketing team, Reservations, Catering as well as the Public Relations departments of the hotel.

Mr Tse started his career as a Service and Kitchen Trainee at Hotel St. Gotthard, Zurich in 1988 and Hotel President, Geneva in 1989. Between 1990 to 1999, he was serving with the Front Desk in JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong. Subsequently, he was promoted to take on the roles of Group Co-ordinator, Account Manager and Sales Manager. With his outstanding performance and commitment, he was soon promoted to Assistant Director of Sales before moving on to take up the portfolio of the Director of Sales in Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon.

Mr Tse was also actively involved in industry associations such as the Member of the Hotel & Catering International Management Association in England, AmChan of Vietnam, British Association Group Vietnam as well as Hong Kong Business Association in Vietnam.

Of his new tenure here at Singapore Marriott Hotel, Mr Tse said, “ Being assigned to Singapore will further enhance my experience and career with Marriott International, Inc.
