Stock Exchange Announcement on Air New Zealand Submission to Government

It was revealed in the New Zealand Parliament yesterday that Air New Zealand's recent submission to Government regarding recapitalisation involved two features:

1. An increase in the level of Singapore Airlines' ownership to 49 percent.

2. Removal of the distinction between the A and B class shares.

In accordance with its intention to maintain an informed market, Air New Zealand confirms that these were features of its submission.
