An Industry First: Northwest Airlines Creates New Service To Notify WorldPerks Members Of First Class Upgrades

Search no more. Let Northwest WorldPerks upgrade status find you. Northwest Airlines has created WorldPerks Elite Upgrade Status Messaging, an industry-leading service, which automatically notifies its WorldPerks Elite members of the status of their domestic First Class Upgrades.

WorldPerks Elite members simply register for this innovative notification service at www.nwa.com/elite. When members make a domestic coach class reservation on Northwest Airlines they will receive one of the three following messages about their First Class upgrade one or two days before departure:

Your upgrade to First Class has been confirmed;


First Class is full, but you are on the airport standby list;


Both First Class and the airport standby lists are full, but please check at the airport for any change.


WorldPerks Elite Upgrade Status Messaging gives members the flexibility to receive upgrade information anywhere, anytime. WorldPerks members can choose to have the message delivered as a voice mail, as an e-mail or an e-mail account on an alpha-numeric pager, Personal Digital Assistant/handheld device, or mobile phone.
