Green Resort Award 2000

Soneva Fushi Resort and Spa has won the Green Resort Award of the President of Maldives for the year 2000. The prize (Shield) was handed over by the President of the Representative of Maldives, Mr. Maumoon Abdul Gayoom and accepted by the General Manager of Soneva Fushi Resort, Mr. Charles Morris in a special ceremony held at Dharubaaruge to mark the Tourism Day of the year 2000.

Congratulations from the Soneva team, which had made Soneva one of the best resorts not only in the Maldives but in the World too !

The President congratulated, in his speech, the management and staff at Soneva Fushi and also extended greetings towards the other major milestone in the life of Soneva Fushi Resort which was the award being received by Soneva Fushi Resort by the Conde Nast Magazine.
