How Vacation Ownership Works

This simple concept offers owners a lifetime of wonderful vacations. You make a one-time purchase of your furnished villa, at a fraction of the total ownership cost, and pay an annual maintenance fee. You own your vacation unit – but only for the amount of time you plan to use it. During the rest of the year, other families enjoy the accommodation for their vacation and share the cost of your vacation home.

No matter where you choose to own within the MVCI system, you are never ‘locked’ in to a single time or place where you must go (unless of course that’s just what you want). Instead, you can take advantage of a variety of exciting program options, with remarkable flexibility, to visit new destinations and enjoy a wealth of first-class amenities.

The options for owners are as follows:

· Occupy home resort (in this case Marriott’s Phuket Beach Club)

· Exchange to another season in home resort or to another MVCI resort worldwide (currently 52 resorts in 29 destinations)

· Exchange to one of over 1,900 additional Interval International resorts worldwide

· Trade for Marriott Rewards® Program Points – a program which offers the flexibility of earning your choice of valuable points or miles for every dollar spent at over 2,300 hotels worldwide. For MVCI owners, points can be traded every other year for car rentals, Marriott hotel stays, cruises, airline tickets and more.

Marriott Vacation Club International literally puts the whole world at your doorstep with flexible options to suit owners in accordance with their personal preferences and changing schedules. The benefits of vacation ownership are seemingly endless. Owners get to enjoy fabulous resorts located in some of the most popular destinations around the world, with accommodations that have all the comforts of home, and incredible amenities.

Marriott Vacation Club International is the recognized worldwide leader in Vacation Ownership with 52 resorts in 29 destinations. More than 190,000 vacation owners not only benefit from the “Marriott vacation experience”, but also a flexible program with options such as priority week(s) exchange within the MVCI portfolio, trading their week(s) for Marriott Rewards® points or exchanging within Interval International’s global system of 1,900 resorts in more than 75 countries.
