BIN BYAT OPENS SUMMIT DUBAI

Dubai Internet Citys CEO, Ahmad Bin Byat opens Summit Dubai 2001, the e-business conference at Emirates Towers Hotel today, Tuesday October 2 2001, to an audience of more than 160 participants.

As the patron of Summit Dubai, DICs Bin Byat is scheduled to give the keynote address kicking off the Hype or Reality position surrounding E-Business implementation.

DIC leads more than 30 blue chip organisations, including Summit patron Dubai Internet City, Bywater, Comtrust, Accenture, IBM, Microsoft and Oracle.

While on Wednesday (day two), Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan, chairman of Vertscape, a Dubai Idea Oasis incubator company, is set to stress the essentials of e-business.

Summit Dubai stages three tiers of activity speaker seminars, a B2B networking exhibition and e-workshops. On workshops, ITP, Summit Dubais support publishing house, joins various sector leaders as an e-workshop host including ASP Gulf, CacheFlow, Bayt.com, Sankhya InfoTech among others.
