eMARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER FOR CENTURY INTERNATIONAL HOTELS

Mr Mark Simmons, Vice President - Sales and Marketing for Century International Hotels, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Agnes Ho as eMarketing and Communications Manager for the Century group.

A graduate in Communication Studies from Murdoch University in Western Australia, Ms Ho brings with her several years of experience in marketing communications. Prior to joining Century, she was the Marketing and PR Manager - Asia Pacific for Cahners Travel Group, based in Singapore. She also has previous experience in the hotel industry. Ms Ho will be responsible for driving Century’s eMarketing strategies worldwide and developing key partnerships in that area.

To support Century's proactive stance on technology, Ms Ho will be working closely with partners to spearhead all marketing and promotional activities online, apart from the traditional media. She will also develop communications strategies to enhance the Century image and branding.

Century International Hotels currently manages 21 hotels and resorts in seven Asian countries - Hong Kong SAR, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines. Opening in 2001 will be the 140-room Century Samarkand Hotel in Uzbekistan.
