Bangkok Airways’ has launched a newlook upgraded website

Bangkok Airways now offers online reservation, more convenience and easy access to travelers worldwide, through its newly upgraded website, WWW.BANGKOKAIR.COM

Bangkok Airways’ objective behind the upgrade of its new look website is to provide a refined information service to travelers worldwide. The first being in the form of improved distribution of information regarding prime holiday destinations in Thailand to people around the world as well as company-relevant information such as company profile, safety standards & other services, Bangkok Airways’ two private airports (Koh Samui and Sukhothai), contact information (Bangkok Airways’ offices within Thailand and overseas.) and recent developments within the company.

A highlight of the website is the distinctive reservation system, which can be classified into separate categories as follows:

1) Destination Guide

Provides detailed information regarding Bangkok Airways’ destinations such as Chiang Mai, Hua Hin, Krabi, Phuket, Pattaya (Utapao), Sukhothai, Ranong, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Singapore.

2) Flight Schedule and Fares sheet.

This section provides information concerning flight schedules and fares calculation of Bangkok Airways’ destinations.

3) Booking Request

This feature provides travelers from anywhere around the globe the convenience of making their own reservation via the Internet, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through a reservation system called Booking Requisition Management System (BRMS). This system will confirm a passenger’s booking within 24 hours via email. The email confirmation will provide the passenger within a 5 digit alpha-numeric code. This code will be used as a reference point at the payment stage.

4) Purchasing ticket online

Bangkok Airways has appointed the Bank of Asia to oversee its secure online payment system. This system enables passengers to securely pay for their tickets via credit card. Initially, payment may only be made with VISA, however Bangkok Airways is continuously upgrading the system to enable it to accept a variety of credit cards.

5) First Time Traveler information

This final category provides general information about Thailand such as exchange rate, climate and Thai etiquette and behavior.

This is one of many projects that Bangkok Airways’ endeavors to making 2001, the year of Technology and Service.
